so i tried it on a few old shows with varying success / failure. On these, i went [edit] then file options, and just checked it out, then hit 'update' and left it to be seen by jon:

http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=6665

it was unable to grab anything at all for song title. the text file has my normal naming system:
ex:
d1t01 - Taylor [02:17.38]
d1t02 - Posters [04:20.65]

http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=5497

it grabbed the song names, but also the track times. Shouldn't it have 'cleaned' those after grabbing?
ex from .txt:
01 - It's all understood [03:40.60]
02 - Drink the water [04:33.70]

not there is no 'd1' before each track number

http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=8238

it was also unable to grab any text info. .txt example:

Tracklist:
d1t01 - Divided time

thoughts?

also, just a general question ... the symbols we use to note a special thing (ex. # @ $) SHOULD NOT be allowed to be left in the meta data correct? that would harm the possible future search capabilities of metadata searching for a particular track name, right?

Okay I think I got one or two of those. A bit better now. Please continue providing feedback.

Hej,

I got this error recently when I uploaded a show. I have not idea how to correct it? What should I do? Do I reupload the show?

Actually, I have three concerts recently that I have uploaded and have problems (MD5 did not check, metafile error, and one other error- all different) and I have no idea how to get into the system to change to fix these problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jon, most of my recent uploads have been great on parsing the titles and ONLY the titles into the metadata window, but this one left in the track timings as well for some reason. Thought I'd let you know.
